The birds could be heard chirping throughout the air. Their beautiful music could put anyone asleep, that is, if there wasn't shouting coming from the Tendo household. The noise emanated from the second floor through the open window. Inside Ranma was sleeping.

"Ranma, wake up!" Akane shouted again, reaching a whole new volume.

"Just a little longer, Akane." Ranma replied back in one long grown. Ranma was just too comfortable where he was.

"Come on Ranma, I need to practice!" she said, walking out of view.

'Ha!' thought Ryoga. 'You think your life is bad! Well it won't be for to much longer. For today, Ranma Saotome, you shall pay for my suffering...for making me live through hell!' Ryoga had been sitting in a tree through the whole conversation. Looking through Ranma's bedroom window, he was watching intently for a chance to strike.
